Data from OpenDNS should be the benchmark because, as stated in the information received detikINET, Sunday (30/01/2011), OpenDNS manage 30 billion DNS queries per day.
OpenDNS also provides network security services that are widely used by consumers, schools, small businesses to corporate for the filtering and protection from malicious programs or fraud attempts.
Then, the site is recorded by OpenDNS as the most blocked? Nothing else is up to the level of 14.2 percent.
YouTube sitting in third place with 8.1 percent. While Twitter has also appeared at position 5 with 2.3 percent.
According to an official statement OpenDNS, blacklists, many caused by fears of wasting bandwidth and not necessarily on content that is aired.
In addition to the black list, OpenDNS also noted the sites most whitelisted may alias to access. Uniquely, YouTube (12.7 percent) and Facebook (12.6 percent) topped this list.
