HTC began in 2011 with the presence of Evo Shift 4G, Android smartphone that can run on 4G WiMax network. Shift 4G is the successor of Evo 4G handsets. Of course, this latest version has some changes.

Evo 4G HTC Shift now has a sliding qwerty keyboard. Screen size shrinks to 3.6 inch from the previous 4.3 inch. However, even the camera features is reduced from 8 megapixels to 5 megapixels.

Shift 4G will soon be marketed in the United States to work with Sprint service. Hopefully, this handset will be trailing the success of his brother Evo 4G, which when released in June 2010 caused considerable queue of buyers.

As quoted from InformationWeek on Wednesday (01/05/2011), Shift using the Android operating system 2.2 or Froyo and powered by Qualcomm 800 MHz processor. Her presence initiated various 4G handsets projected in 2011 will attend this.

With the presence Shift, Sprint currently has three handsets have support 4G. Two other mobile phones are Samsung Epic Evo 4G and 4G. The operator at Uncle Sam's country indeed is in a race held 4G services to its customers, which promises super-fast data access
