Synthetic gasoline price is only US $ 1.50 per gallon

The synthetic fuel technology is based a complex concept, and has developed over four years in a secret program at the Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Oxford.

Synthetic fuel development team is led by Professor Stephen Bennington and work together with scientists from University College London and Oxford University.

For starters, the team managed to create a synthetic gas that can be used in internal combustion engines in vehicles without engine modifications.

According to Cella Energy's CEO, Stephen Voller, this technology was developed by using the progress of science, took the high energy material and encapsulating them using nanostructuring technique called coaxial electrospraying.

"We have developed a new micro-beads that can be used in gasoline or petrol vehicles to replace fuel oil. Early indications micro beads can be used in existing vehicles without engine modifications," said Voller like detikOto quotes from Gizmag, Tuesday (31/01/2011).

"The material is based on hydrogen produce no carbon emissions at point of use, in a manner similar to electric vehicles," added Voller.

This technology has been developed over four years on the secret program at the prestigious Rutherford Appleton Laboratory near Oxford, England.

While the Chief Scientific Officer at Cella Energy, Professor Bennington said that the content in gasoline is included complicated and they will soon be patented.

"Our technology is based on a material called a complex hydride containing hydrogen. Packed uses a unique process which we patented, synthetic gasoline is more secure than regular gasoline," he said
