26 Days 'Dead', the PlayStation Network Life Back

PlayStation 3 users who can not wait to play online games via the PlayStationNetwork (PSN) can breathe easily. After waiting so long to rise again when the PSN, Sony finally announced the news of the PSN service restored in somecountries.

No less for 26 days PSN 'suspended animation'. PSN closure was announced onApril 20 at the official PlayStation blog by Patrick Seybold, Senior Director ofCorporate Communications and Social Media Sony.

Finally on May 14, or nearly a month later, Seybold declared ready PSN onlineservice again, but not in all areas. For the initial stage or on 15 May, the newPSN restored in Europe and North America.

The fall of the PSN make Sony hit by criticism for being indifferent to the security of user data. Sony acknowledges the PSN has been hacked and a variety ofimportant information, amounting to 77 million users are transported cracker.

Do not want this embarrassing incident happen again, Sony also seeks toimprove security on PSN. As quoted from Ars Technica detikINET on Monday(5/16/2011), Seybold claims PSN is now far more secure than ever.

As a welcome for users who already disappointed PSN, Sony tried to hold aspecial service. They are for example provides some content for download forfree.
