F1 : Canadian GP, Button Defeat Vettel on Last Lap

Canadian GP last full drama punctuated by heavy rain and red flags that last up to two hours. Come out as winners in the race was Jenson Button who overtook Sebastian Vettel on the last lap.



At the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve on Monday (6/13/2011) pm dawn total race takes four hours more. In addition to red flag that lasted two hours, the safety car came out too many times because of heavy rain which flushed the track and the number of accidents that occur.

Emerged as champions in the race is Jenson Button. Although time had nudge with Lewis Hamilton and had to undergo six pit stops British driver managed to overtake Vettel on lap-70 aka the last round to reach the championship title.



This was Button's first victory this season or the second for McLaren Mercedes.Additional 25 points to make Button surged into second place standings with points collected amounted to 101.



While for Vettel, the error on the last lap when his car a little twisted, making a series of victories that has been three times in a row he can be unbroken. Yet the German world champion still reigns atop the standings with 161 points.



Finish in third position in the race is Mark Webber. While there behind Michael Schumacher that gave fierce resistance until the end of the race ahead.
