Microsoft to ChallengeGoogle with Office 365

With the latest version of an online application package Office 365, Microsoft is trying to attract those users who had refused to use his own Office applications.

If successful with his online Office applications, Microsoft said the company could enter a new wave of growth in the Office, which has been used by more than one billion people around the world.

Reported by the Wall Street Journal , Microsoft faces tough competition with Google in this regard. As is known, Google with its Google Apps has long won the hearts of the users in small-scale businessmen, medium to large.

Microsoft Office 365 launched since October 2010. Office applications and web-based email in the form of a paid subscription is indeed a mainstay of Microsoft to compete with Google Apps.

Office Pack 365 in it including Word, Outlook, Excel and other applications that most people have never seen it. There Exchange for messaging, SharePoint for collaboration and Lync for conferences and communications.

Microsoft is offering this new service at a cost of slightly more expensive than Google, which is USD 72 per year. For information, word processing and spreadsheet applications web version offered by Google for business priced at $ 50 per year.

For companies with a headcount of less than 25 people, Microsoft offers a monthly service USD 6 per month. For a larger number of employees, Microsoft offers a combination of services for USD 2 to USD 27 per user.
