Jorge Lorenzo managed to emerge as champion of the Italian MotoGP. Througha procession of tight races, Lorenzo managed to outperform the bitter rival,Casey Stoner.
Italian MotoGP race that lasted for 23 laps at Mugello circuit on Sunday(03/07/2011), lasted cried with colored action followed one after another in the front row, center and rear.
After lagging in more than 75 percent of the races, Lorenzo managed to overtakeStoner. Until the finish flag was unfurled, the Yamaha rider pole position was notdeterred.
Stoner should instead accept the fate of only finish in third position as the Hondarider was overtaken his team mate, Andrea Dovizioso, on the last lap of the race.
Other dramatic events was when Ben Spies is menggeber Yamaha followedMarco Simoncelli (Honda Gresini) just before the finish line to finish fourthposition.
Host driver who defend Ducati, Valentino Rossi, could give hope to crawl fromposition 12 to the front. But in the end, The Doctor had to settle for finishing in the top six.
