Ferrari president Luca di Montezemolo, hoping his team won more victories in Formula 1 competition this season. With the condition that his team continues to improve, he was quite optimistic.
Of the 11 series that have been held this season, Ferrari only won once. The only winning team "Prancing Horse" at the British GP obtained by Fernando Alonso.
Although only one win, Alonso's performance is not all that bad. In the last six races, he recorded the podium five times.
With the remaining eight series, Montezemolo was pretty sure his team could again set foot on the top podium. "I could see the right spirit in the team after a very difficult start to the season," Montezemolo said on Ferrari's official website.
"(Team principal Stefano) Domenicali and his crew were very diligent, fully concentrate on his job for the second half of the season, in which I believe will show the Ferrari as the holder of the key role," he said.
"I hope we will win again to complete victory at Silverstone which is very important and very significant in terms of history," said Montezemolo.
