Sharapova Richest Women Athletes

Since the Australian Open champion in 2008, not to mention Maria Sharapova won the Grand Slam series. Yet the Russian's wealth was not matched by a fellow athlete's daughter.

As stated in a report released by Forbes magazine and reported by Reuters on Wednesday (03/08/2011). For the seventh consecutive time Sharapova topped the list of women tennis players with the largest revenues.

Sharapova's total revenues predicted to reach U.S. $ 25 million or approximately USD 210.9 billion. Because they are very rarely win the tournament's top, most of the revenue income of world number five came from outside the field as a contract with the sponsor and the commercials.
