The victory in the race in Italy Sebastian Vettel brought closer to thechampionship title. Even so, the defending champion still believes that the pathtowards a degree is still far away.
At the Monza circuit last weekend, Vettel successful carve the eighth victory this season. Red Bull is more solid at the top of the standings by a margin of 112points from nearest rival, Fernando Alonso.
With such a wide range, Vettel has a chance to lock in the Singapore GP titlerace if the results support him.
But rather than thinking about it, Vettel would prefer to focus on the race course.He just hopes to look my best.
"Looking at the standings is clear that much still lies the road (towards a degree)," said the owner of the nickname Baby Schumi in Autosport.
"We are in a strong position to where I thought we deserved because we have worked hard to just make a few mistakes. We'll see."
"I really do not think about it and the points difference and possibility in the next race. As long as we produce a greater distance after the next race then I think we've worked very well," Vettel finished.
