Lewis Hamilton appeared as the fastest racer in the Korean Grand Prix qualifying session. These results break records always reached the pole a Red Bull since the start of the season.
At the session held at the Circuit Yeongnam, Saturday (15/10/2011) noon CST, Hamilton incised record time of 1 minute and 35.820 seconds. He is successful ahead of Sebastian Vettel, who was in second position, with a distance of 0.222 seconds.
Meanwhile, the third and fourth position is occupied by Jenson Button and Mark Webber. Both left 0.306 seconds and 0.468 seconds behind Hamilton's time records.
This is the first time this season, pole position is not occupied by the Red Bull racer. As for Hamilton himself, this is his first pole since the Canadian Grand Prix 2010.
Neither Button or Hamilton already showed their pace since the second free practice session, where they always turn to be the fastest racer. Hamilton also had expressed his belief to be the fastest in the qualifying session.
