HP Finally Preserve PC Business Unit

Rumors Hewlett Packard (HP) will end the business Personal Systems Group (PSG), a business unit that sells desktop PCs, laptops and computer accessories missed. HP's new CEO, Meg Whitman, has made a firm decision still maintaining the division.
"First and foremost, HP is a hardware company. We really want to build software, but I do not think we've done in hardware. There are many opportunities," said Whitman.
Rumors circulating the PC business termination in August last when former HP CEO Leo Apotheker announced that HP TouchPad memillih to end production and will likely stop the PC division.
The plan arising from the development of HP's PC division had kemeresotan profit in recent years but still be the world's largest computer vendor. Another underlying reason is that HP is determined to focus on business software and enterprise services.
Back then, Apotheker idea scorned by many consumers and analysts. A month later, Apotheker stepped down from office and replaced by CEO Meg Whitman (former CEO of eBay).
Now under the leadership reins of Whitman, announced PC division continues.Whitman said he would continue to work exploring the sale of the PC line.
Quoted from Mashable, Friday (10/28/2011), in a statement, Whitman said "this decision is right for consumers and partners, shareholders and also for our employees".
