Currently easy to get a processor with dual core, even more so thanks to Intel'sHyperThreading technology that is able to 'double' the number of cores on eachprocessor.
This is certainly already anticipated by Microsoft as Windows owners. In Windows 7 for example, the operating system can be used on a system thathas 160 physical cores on each processor.
But unfortunately very difficult to monitor the activity of each core processorsare now using Windows 7. Therefore, the status bar is too small making it hardto see loads ditompang each core.

Quoted from tomshardware, Monday (07/11/2011), Ryan Haveson, User Experience division leaders try to fix it by turning it on Windows 8. Display the Task Manager to look better, like the image below.

Each core will be represented by a small of Public complete with a description of the load that is being done. As for more detailed view, users simply shiftingthe cursor to the desired box.
Besides saving space, these designs are also claimed to be easier to monitor the system's user both the server, or a home computer. It's just not yet known when home users can enjoy processors with hundreds of cores like that.
