After several times postponed, PlayStation Vita finally officially marketed by Sony. Hundreds of gamers were willing to queue to get their game consoles.
The new launch is carried out in Japan on December 17, 2011 local time. The event was attended by Hiroshi Kono, as president of Sony Computer Entertainment Japan.
"We are very proud of it, but many are willing to queue once to get the PSVita," Kono said, as quoted from sltrib, Sunday (18/12/2011).
In Tokyo Ikebukuro shopping centers, reported there are about 300 gamers arewilling to queue in front of the store a few hours before the launch.
For Sony, the launch of the PlayStation Vita is the largest event after the presence of the PlayStation 3. Sakura electronics giant also hopes to improvethe appearance of Vita their financial condition.
PlayStation Vita is equipped with last technology from Sony, but that does not mean these products do not have competitors. Nintendo 3DS, tablets and smart phones is predicted to threaten the success of the console.
