Sony Ericsson is preparing to update the Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwichon Xperia smartphone family. Complete with a range of schedule updates areplanned to be done in 2012.
Quoted from Slashgear, Friday (23/12/2011), around March 2012, the handsetXperia Arc S, V and Xperia Neo Ray will get Android 4.0. Then late April or early May turn Xperia Arc, Play, Neo, Mini, Mini Pro, Xperia Live Active andWalkman.
Android 4.0 or Ice Cream Sandwich latest version of the OS itself is a 'green robot' that can be used both on smartphones and tablets. There is a significantaddition of features such as opening the phone with a face, Face Unlock.
Currently, the new smartphone Galaxy Nexus has put on Android 4.0. Updateon other Android handsets depends on the policy of each vendor.
In addition to Sony Ericsson, vendors such as Samsung, LG and HTC have promised Android 4.0 update on some handsets. Updates are also scheduled to gradually rolling next year.
