Australian Open, Azarenka Realize Dreams

Victoria Azarenka managed to realize the dream of magnitude in the world of professional tennis. Belarusian tennis player has just won his first Grand Slamtitles at once rose to the rank of the world.

Azarenka appeared as a champion of Australian Open 2012. In the final at RodLaver Arena, Melbourne Park, Saturday (01/28/2012) afternoon local time, hekill Maria Sharapova by 6-3 and 6-0.

It was Azarenka's first Grand Slam title since starting a professional career in 2003 ago. The more remarkable, this title in his first chance he could appear in the final Grand Slam.

Not only that. Victory 22-year-old was also delivered to the world number onenext week to evict Caroline Wozniacki.

"I had an amazing month in Australia and this is a dream come true," Azarenkasaid after the game, as quoted by Reuters.

"I dreamed and worked very hard to win the Grand Slam and become number one is a pretty nice bonus," he admits.

Azarenka had paused after a return Sharapova caught in the net and ensure his victory. He then ran to the coach who sat in the stands, Sam Sumyk, andhugged her.

"This is your time," whispered Sumyk to their students.

"After winning, I could not understand what was happening, and I find it hard to believe that the tournament is over," said Azarenka
