Ferrari driver Fernando Alonso said he was satisfied with the performance ofhis car after undergoing the first day of free practice GP Australia. But Alonsostill wants to repair diving qualifying session.
Alonso to end each practice session in fourth. In the first session, he recorded a best time of 1 minute 28.360 or 0.800 adrift of Jenson Button at the top.
While in the second free practice, this Spaniard clocked slower than the previous record by 1 minute 30.341 seconds.
"There's no point in time to see the record of today with a view to making predictions for the qualification," Alonso said in a press conference attended byreporters detiksport M. Resha Primary circuit in Albert Park, Melbourne, Friday(16/03/2012).
"A bit tricky trying to do the work we planned on this day because of the weather. Therefore, there is still a bit of work we must do before qualifying, but I think the others in the same position."
"I am quite satisfied with the car; initial feeling with the car balance waspositive," said the double world champion.
