After winning the last two seasons F1, Sebastian Vettel will be back trying to defend the title this season. Red Bull driver was going to do it in the company of Abbey.
Vettel continued the tradition by giving the names of women for F1 cars he was driving. This time he chose the name Abbey for RB8.
Abbey name itself supposedly inspired by an album from the legendary British band The Beatles - Abbey Road, or from the chicane at Silverstone Circuit. But Vettel claimed to have no particular reason.
"Initially we were thinking of giving the name of 'Everybody's Wife'. But we failed to do so because the question will come and we must explain, 'said Vettel on Fox Sports.
"There's a thought (name) should not be too sexy because of (his car) like a beak nose and needed surgery, but his run fast like a train!" he joked, referring to the stepped nose in RB8.
Last season, Vettel drove the 'Kinky Kylie' in dominating the race. Previously, he drove along 'Luscious Liz' in his first world title. So, what adjectives to Abbey this season?
"No, not yet. We'll see how the action!" Vette prank
