RIM BlackBerry 10 Change Icon


Research In Motion (RIM) is trying to show some changes in BlackBerry 10. One way to change the icon on this new operating system platform with a smaller size.

Previously, it has been suggested RIM plans. But new this week's decision to change the icon officially done. Given the icons are the most frequently seen in the application, the icon changes represent an important aspect of both the RIM and developers.

In the BlackBerry 10, the size of the icon changes from previous 150 150 to 114 114. The developers are also reminded to pay attention to the change. RIM wants to make sure, all developers update their apps icons according to the guidelines of the new aesthetic.

"If you move an application from the BlackBerry PlayBook to a BlackBerry smartphone 10 you will devote more attention to the icon," RIM said in his latest blog post, as quoted on Tuesday (20/11/2012).

RIM also updated the BlackBerry UI Guidelines document. In the user interface guidelines, listed all the important details about the new size, also a number of tips to design the software icon.

Not only that, the developer will also be equipped with a trick to make the application so that it looks and feels good to use BlackBerry 10. The makers of prototype applications that has BlackBerry 10 Dev Alpha will be able to see the changes on the OS update late November.
