This application Got Fake Photo Detector Features

The photos are used as evidence in legal cases are not always an alias without modifying the original picture. Encounter such cases, a startup founded to address this problem.


Fourandsix's Photoshop plug-in (Fourandsix)

Fourandsix Technologies is a software that has given birth to their first, FourMatch some time ago. Startup is fronted by two experts, namely Kevin Connor former team members Adobe Photoshop and Hany Farid, a digital forensic expert.

Connor, who was previously Vice President of Product Management at Adobe Systems Incorporated Photoshop learn photo editing tool that poses a problem for those who rely on the photo to view the a fact. That's why he made this software.

Intended to determine whether a photo has been modified or not, the software is melakukkan 'job' by analyzing the meta data in the image file. FourMatch then match them with a database containing more than 70,000 'signature' that they have.

Self-funded startup that does not address products that consumers 'normal'. Priced worth USD 890, FourMatch intended for police and lawyers who want to know whether the photo as evidence, it has been modified or not.

"Obviously, this software is retail priced at USD 890 so obviously not intended for consumers 'normal'," he quoted from Mashable, Monday (11/12/2012). The software is an extension to Photoshop CS5/CS6.
