New features in Windows 8.1

Microsoft finally officially released the latest update of Windows 8, the Windows 8.1. There are several features in this operating system is worth a try.

Broadly speaking, the reforms carried in Windows 8.1 is to restore the start button and allow the computer to go back to the traditional desktop interface.

But if judging deeper, it turns out there are several other features that are not less interesting than the new operating system.

Here are a handful of new features of Windows 8.1 are summarized:


1.Live Tile
Microsoft did a great buzz to the interface of Windows 8.1. Now, users can more freely mengantur the operating system interface.

The size of the boxes home page now has a size that can be adjusted. Then unify a variety of applications on a single folder can now be done easily.

In addition to Live Tile, Microsoft also fix start screen features, namely by adding the ability to perform in unison with the adjacent desktop.


 2. Multitasking
Snap, one of the features in Windows 8, has a pretty interesting concept. This feature was made in order to allow users to perform multitasking with multiple windows.

But in fact these features are not as sweet as promised. Because the users are still limited by the size of which can not be adjusted and availability are stuck in two window.


Snap on Windows 8.1 perform much better. Now users can easily adjust the size, and the use of more than 2 window if the monitor is used to support it.


3. Search Engine
One of the features in Windows 8 that is favored for ease of application. It was increasingly enhanced in Windows 8.1.

Now, the search engine on the operating system has been integrated with Bing. So not only can browse the contents of the hard drive, but users can also find content on the internet.
 


4.Lock Screen
Usually, the image on the lock screen in Windows 8 is static and just look boring. To outsmart it, Microsoft provides a slick touch the screen lock function.

Now, drawing on the more dynamic function because it can be displayed as a slide show to take a photo at a predefined folder.
 


5. Start Button
True, the typical Windows Start button has now been back in Windows 8.1, but with different functions.

When clicked the button will take the user to the last menu accessed, whereas right-click on the menu is still present as in the past.

However, from the user also can easily turn off the computer or accessing features such as system settings, Device Manager, Task Manager, Control Panel, File Explorer, Search and Run function.

This menu can also be accessed by way of pressed and hold on the touch screen-based computer.
 


6. Direct boot to desktop
In Windows 8.1 users can directly access the desktop without having to pass through the Start Screen interface that is considered annoying.

The trick, go to the Desktop view and right-click anywhere on the taskbar area. Select Properties, then click on Navigation tab.

The next step which is to provide a check on the 'Go to the desktop instead of the Start when I sign in'
