Different Comics Betwen Graphic Novels

Graphic Novel - Many people consider graphic novels comic with a story by narrates as images, task force and dialog in color or black and white illustrations. Although both use media image in the storytelling, however there are a few things that distinguish the two.

Similar to other novels, graphic novels marked the International Standard Book Number (ISBN) that use the 13 digit number as identification of comic books while using the International Standard Serial Number (ISSN) that has 8-digit identification number is the same as that used in the magazine.

Most comics are sold directly at specialty stores and smaller distributed through most bookstores or libraries while the graphic novels are available at traditional book stores and libraries, although the comic book stores also sell some titles of the graphic novel.

Although the comic is very popular, but there are still many who think comic art is a form of "low" because most of the story is devoted to children with a simple theme. Usually the graphic novel more acceptable adult and some have even entered into the bestseller lists.
